- Quality wines bear a seal which is only granted after tasting by an independent panel.
- A wine is “certified” for any of the following: estate, region, district or ward of origin.
- The seal guarantees the information on the label is in line with the rules of the Wine of Origin Scheme.
- To qualify for a vintage a minimum of 75% of the grapes must be from the stated year and if a variety of grape is stated then that grape must form 75% of the total of the wine.
